pour your 1.5 litre still water into the kettle, ensure your kettle is empty of any water previously in there. bring to the boil.
line up your 4 mugs & place the 3 teabags, 1 in each mug. pour the boiled still water into each mug over the teabag. leave to stand for 1 minute.
remove each of your teabags without squeezing & set aside on your saucer. add 2 tspns of raw honey to each mug of tea & stir well.
place your funnel in the neck of your 1.5 still water bottle. pour in each mug of herbal tea.
reboil the remaining water in the kettle. take your 3 used teabags from your saucer & place in each mug. fill each mug with hot water (repeat of previous 3 mugs). leave to stand for 1 minute. remove the teabags & squeeze well. you can now throw these away.
place 2 tspns of raw honey in each mug. pour each mug of tea down the funnel into the 1.5 still water bottle.
reboil your still water. in the last mug place your 1/2 a lemon cut in two, or your berries, depending what iced tea you're making. add your mint. pour the boiling water over to the top of the mug. leave to stand for 2 minutes.
the fruit should now be soft. if you have prepared lemon iced tea, then remove the quarters & squeeze well & dispose of. the berries you can mix around & squeeze with a teaspoon, but they can remain in the mug.
pour the remaining mug of berry/lemon water, down the funnel into the 1.5 litre still water bottle. if the fruit becomes stuck in the neck of the funnel, use the handle of a wooden spoon to push it through.
leave your bottle of iced tea to cool for a few hours with the lid off, then put in the fridge.
you now have a very healthy alternative to mass produced iced tea that you can drink to your heart's content. a great detox to replace the boredom of water occasionally. remember that green tea has amazing detoxing benefits
